The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaxa throws out a loose jab but Romeiro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Romeiro.
Romeiro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Metaxa looks to throw the jab but Romeiro is out of range.
A combination from Romeiro does no damage.
A solid leg kick lands there for Romeiro.
Metaxa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Metaxa thuds his right hand into Romeiro's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
