Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregers Westerberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westerberg has chosen Maitre Gims - J'me Tire as his entrance music. Vince Dixon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gregers Westerberg's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dixon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Westerberg has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Westerberg and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dixon throws a series of punches but Westerberg moves out of range.
Dixon moves out of range of the body kick.
Westerberg pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dixon back to the cage. Westerberg follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Vince Dixon has been cut.
Westerberg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dixon defends well and Westerberg ends up having to push Dixon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Westerberg wants a takedown but no success here.
Dixon looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Dixon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Westerberg managing to block the knees to the body from Dixon.
Dixon misses with a knee to the head.
Dixon will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Westerberg up against the cage.
Dixon gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Dixon tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Dixon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Dixon.

That has opened up Gregers Westerberg's cut even more.

Dixon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Westerberg backwards.

Westerberg breaks from the clinch.
Westerberg misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dixon misses the shot to the body.
Dixon throws a leg kick but Westerberg sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dixon connects with a nice looking jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Westerberg. Dixon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Westerberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Dixon sprawls well. He's pushed Westerberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vince Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregers Westerberg.
Dixon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Westerberg.
Dixon connects with a solid leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Dixon drops Westerberg with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Westerberg looks back up at him and smiles so Dixon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Westerberg is rocked!

The cut above Gregers Westerberg's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Westerberg takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Westerberg looks winded!
Dixon throws a right hand that Westerberg ducks under and follows up with a left that Westerberg also avoids with ease.
Westerberg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Westerberg takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dixon throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dixon feints and then cracks Westerberg's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Westerberg down.
Dixon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dixon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Westerberg moves out of range of the body kick from Dixon.
A shot to the liver by Dixon. Beautiful body shot.
Dixon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Westerberg manages to avoid it.
Dixon throws a quick inside leg kick.

Dixon moves into the clinch.

Westerberg tries to circle away but Dixon has him pinned against the cage.
Westerberg on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Dixon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Westerberg avoids it.

Westerberg prevents a body shot from Dixon.
A short body shot lands from Dixon as the two fighters clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dixon unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Dixon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Dixon for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Westerberg blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Dixon lands an elbow just above Westerberg 's eye.

Gregers Westerberg's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gregers Westerberg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
