Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wandy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francesco Luongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luongo has chosen The Northern - Alexisonfire as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francesco Luongo!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Luongo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Francesco Luongo has been cut.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luongo moves away.
Silva throws a hook but Luongo avoids it easily.
Silva misses with the combination.
Silva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Luongo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wandy Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silva clinches.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luongo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Luongo feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Luongo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Luongo stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Luongo has hold of Silva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Silva seems comfortable defending it but Luongo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Silva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Silva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Luongo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
