The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Violence slips under a jab.
Horrible takedown by Violence or perhaps it was just good defense by Bishop which made him look bad.
Bishop swings widly with a right hand
and Violence counters with a three punch combo that has Bishop backing up. Bishop nods at Violence to acknowledge the strikes.
Bishop falls off balance throwing a combination
and Violence counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Violence tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bishop swivels and escapes.
Violence slips a jab and a cross from Bishop.

and Violence counters with an inside leg kick.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
I was talking to Bishop's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Violence tries a knee to the head but Bishop blocks it.
Violence has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bishop avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ryan Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dark Violence.

Violence scores with a head kick. Bishop tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Bishop stalks Violence and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Violence's face. Violence staggers backwards, shaken.
