The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Turris misses the shot to the body.

Turris closes the distance and clinches.
Turris content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Kikovic scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Turris goes for a takedown attempt but Kikovic pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've been hearing reports that Kikovic has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Turris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kikovic - the referee stops the clock and Turris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kikovic. Turris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round but I would say that Dusan Kikovic will probably get the nod.

Turris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kikovic's guard.

Turris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kikovic is just riding it out for now. Turris eventually gives up the hold.
Turris is stalling here. Kikovic is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Turris seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kikovic has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Kyle Turris.

After the fight, Dusan Kikovic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
