Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Pablo Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - Unforgiven. Gordon has chosen Parkway Drive - Frostbite as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ben Gordon enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a hook to the side of Gordon's head but Gordon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gordon takes one to the chin there.
Green connects with a leg kick. Gordon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Green scores with a nice strike.
Green looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Green throws a low kick, looking for Gordon's leg but Gordon calmly moves out of range.

Green throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Gordon counters with a shoot takedown. Green fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Green is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gordon defends well.

Gordon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Green has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gordon has managed to get both his arms back between Green's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ben Gordon wasn't active enough on the ground.

Green tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gordon was well out of range. Poor timing from Green.
Green shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gordon eats them both and turns towards Green to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
