The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pojk's waist but Pojk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slammer off to one side.
Slammer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pojk circles away.
Pojk connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Slammer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slammer showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pojk wants to improve his position but Slammer is controlling well.
