Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eric Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deacino misses with a straight right.
A shot to de liver by Deacino. Beautiful body shot.
Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Deacino.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Deacino saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Deacino lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Deacino connects with a single shot there.
Deacino throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Deacino as he jumps to the side.
Silva is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


Silva is rocked!
Deacino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Deacino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Deacino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Deacino manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Deacino's guard.

Deacino is doing well to control the position and prevent Silva from advancing to side control.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silva is working for a submission of some sort.
Silva tries to pass the half guard into mount. Deacino knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Eric Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Deacino sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fighters circling - Deacino throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Deacino stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Deacino loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Silva drops his hands momentarily and Deacino takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Deacino moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Silva goes down! Can Deacino finish him!?

It looks like Eric Silva has been cut.
Deacino wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deacino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Deacino is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Deacino is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Deacino, as that shot connected.

Deacino throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.

Deacino connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Deacino missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Silva walks into a straight right hand from Deacino.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Deacino bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Silva! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Deacino sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Deacino looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Deacino smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Silva ducks under a wild hook from Deacino.
Deacino swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Deacino to the mat! Deacino manages to get full guard.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Micheal Deacino showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Deacino, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
