Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uzmanov Kiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Slate will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Uzmanov Kiri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Slate!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slate moves into the clinch.
Slate tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kiri smiles and moves away.
Slate has managed to clinch.
Slate tries to land a knee to the head but Kiri blocks with his arms.
Slate breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slate shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slate fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kiri is out of range.
Slate throws a body kick that misses.
Slate is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kiri blocks the body kick.
Horrible takedown by Slate or perhaps it was just good defense by Kiri which made him look bad.
Uzmanov Kiri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Slate.
Kiri shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slate pinned against the cage. Slate gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Adam Slate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slate leaves Kiri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Slate shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kiri defends it nicely.
Slate does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Kiri shoots in and drives through. Slate sprawls well.

and Kiri counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Slate thinking.

Kiri trying to control the position from guard on top but Slate is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've been hearing that Kiri has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Kiri uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slate.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slate throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kiri was covering up waiting for the punch and Slate finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Uzmanov Kiri overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Slate is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kiri presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Kiri is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slate knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Slate wants to get back to his feet but Kiri drags him back down.
Kiri has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Slate pushes Kiri away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kiri gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kiri is taking a breather. Slate says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kiri thows a huge punch but Slate dodges it nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Adam Slate.
Kiri shoots in but no luck this time.
Slate tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kiri manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good exchange - Slate coming out on top.
Slate misses with a head kick.
Kiri shoots in and bounces Slate off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kiri scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Slate manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Kiri wants a takedown.
Kiri breaks the clinch.
Slate stuns Kiri with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slate throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slate's coach down at Bad Pluto! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slate's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Slate lands a nice shot that snaps Kiri's head back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Adam Slate.
