PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Strahovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Dracol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vlad Dracol told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dracol misses with the combination.

Strahovski gets caught napping as Dracol dives in and scores a takedown. Strahovski manages to retain guard.
Strahovski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dracol postures up.

Dracol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Strahovski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dracol has managed to get both his arms back between Strahovski's legs - danger averted.
Dracol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dracol has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Strahovski is proving hard to escape from.
Dracol wants to pass the guard but Strahovski is keeping the position.
Strahovski has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Strahovski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dracol should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Strahovski has tightened it up now! Dracol should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
