Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Denzel Sesay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sesay tries to clinch there but Bravo circles away.
A head kick misses from Sesay.
Bravo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sesay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bravo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sesay somewhat.
Sesay tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Bravo counters with a shoot takedown. Sesay fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sesay controls Bravo momentarily but Bravo frees himself.
Bravo working some strikes from top position.
Sesay working a defensive guard here.
Bravo content to stall in guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravo distracts Sesay with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bravo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Bravo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Sesay gets caught napping as Bravo dives in and scores a takedown. Sesay manages to retain guard.
Bravo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sesay looking to control but Bravo passes into half guard.
Bravo tries to stand and escape but Sesay is controlling the position.
Sesay has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bravo is working away from the top position though.
Bravo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bravo looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Bravo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bravo lands with some strikes.
Bravo controlling the pace for now.
Bravo fails to advance to Sesay's back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bravo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bravo landing strikes from the mount.
Sesay working to try and regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bravo is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Sesay is forced to tap! Great finish!
