The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Liam Neeson has been cut.
A left lands for Riddick.
Riddick misses with a hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Neeson.
Neeson takes one on the button.
Neeson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Riddick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've been told by Riddick's head coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Riddick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riddick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Riddick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Neeson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Neeson fails with the takedown.
Neeson has a takedown stuffed.
Richard Riddick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Neeson.

Neeson is still on wobbly legs! Can Riddick finish him?
Riddick circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Neeson to the canvas! Neeson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Riddick keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
