With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Helios Garcius!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcius shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Blake counters with a nice uppercut.

Blake clinches up against the cage.
Blake scores with a shoulder strike.
Blake tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Garcius avoids it.
Garcius avoiding damage as Blake throws knees to the body.
Garcius fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Garcius wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Blake wants to get up but he can't break Garcius's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Garcius is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Garcius cracks Blake with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Blake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcius on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Garcius jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Blake manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Garcius has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Blake is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Garcius yanks on the arm and Blake is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Garcius.
