Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Fabio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques comes to the ring accompanied by mosh. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fabio Marques!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christopher Rios!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marques on the side of the head.
Rios thumps Marques with a low kick.
Rios lands a head kick that bluckles Marques and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Rios no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Fabio Marques has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rios dodges the punch combination from Marques.
Rios just misses with a punch to the body.
Rios feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marques's calf.
Rios staying out of range there.
Rios misses with a few strikes there.
Marques looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rios connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Marques onto his butt! Marques bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Marques is rocked!
Marques stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rios.
Oh Marques is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marques is breathing heavily.
Rios uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Marques.
Marques seems to have got his legs back now.
Rios looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rios chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rios lands a nice looking body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rios grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Marques takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Rios cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Christopher Rios! Christopher Rios retains his super heavyweight title!
