The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magalona closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Beard's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Magalona postures up.

Beard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Magalona is controlling him.
Beard wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Magalona manages to pass to side control.
Beard is looking for a sweep. Magalona is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Magalona stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Magalona and Beard are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Magalona throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Beard into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Magalona knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
