Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Davis!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Davis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tanaka.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Tanaka wants to clinch up but Davis keeps it at a distance.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Tanaka doesn't manage to clinch there - Davis circles away.
Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tanaka's guard.
Tanaka looking for a sweep. Not yet Tanaka, not yet.
Davis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Davis is posturing up here but Tanaka has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Davis tries to roll out but it's too tight and Davis has to tap! Slick submission there by Tanaka!
