Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Itof Meyachev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meyachev comes to the cage accompanied by Pussy by Rammstein. Da Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Capoeira do Brasil (Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66). Paolo Da Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meyachev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Meyachev is looking to take a break and control but Da Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Da Silva is pressing down on Meyachev's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Meyachev makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Da Silva is on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Meyachev holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Itof Meyachev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paolo Da Silva.

Meyachev ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Meyachev no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Meyachev wants to sweep here but Da Silva controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Da Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Meyachev dives on top into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Itof Meyachev will probably get the nod.

Meyachev is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Da Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Meyachev is looking to defend but Da Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Meyachev!
