Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Conan Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Thai Specialist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Conan Erikson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muay Thai Specialist!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Specialist sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Specialist blocks a jab.
Erikson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Specialist moves away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Specialist.
Erikson fails with a takedown attempt.
Specialist will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Specialist tries to close the distance and clinch up but Erikson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Specialist throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Specialist throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Specialist dodges the punch combination from Erikson.
Erikson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Specialist defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conan Erikson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erikson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Specialist napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Erikson prevents Specialist from escaping the position.
Specialist is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Erikson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Erikson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Specialist is trying to get back to his feet.
Specialist tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Erikson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Specialist with him. Specialist is trying to defend but Erikson has an arm under the chin now! Specialist grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Conan Erikson!
