Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Torpedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberto Blanco will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torpedo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blanco napping and manages to drive through into side control!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Torpedo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Blanco leaves Torpedo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Torpedo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blanco pinned against the cage. Blanco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Blanco's corner calls for a 1-2. Blanco obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Torpedo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blanco walks away with a smile on his face. Torpedo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blanco lands a glancing blow to the side of Torpedo's head.

Blanco cracks Torpedo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Blanco has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Torpedo to stand back up!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Torpedo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oh Torpedo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blanco looks to land a left hand but Torpedo moved out of range nicely.
Blanco's jab looks to have found its range, popping Torpedo under the eye.

Billy Torpedo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Torpedo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Blanco's guard.

Roberto Blanco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Torpedo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blanco on his heels. He'll look to pass Blanco's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Torpedo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Blanco is squirming around, avoiding Torpedo's attempts to control the action.
Torpedo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Torpedo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blanco can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
