Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Slamen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor) . Slamen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jaws Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Da Silva has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anderson Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Troy Slamen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamen shoots in looking for a takedown. Da Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Slamen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Da Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Da Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slamen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Slamen lands a couple of elbows.
Slamen landing with the ground and pound.
Da Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Slamen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Da Silva is trying to defend but Slamen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Da Silva is breathing heavily.
Slamen prevents Da Silva from improving his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slamen connects with a nice short shot to Da Silva's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slamen passes the guard and advances to mount!
Da Silva in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Slamen is landing with some decent strikes but Da Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Da Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Slamen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Slamen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Da Silva looks a forlorn figure.
Slamen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Da Silva is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Da Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Slamen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Slamen putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slamen landing punches.
Slamen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Slamen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Da Silva taking shots to the head.
Da Silva keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Slamen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slamen looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Da Silva is rocked!
Slamen tries to control but Da Silva wriggling away.
Oh Da Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slamen lands a nice shot to the head.
Slamen has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Da Silva is squirming around, avoiding Slamen's attempts to control the action.

Slamen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Da Silva badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Slamen around the waist but Slamen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Slamen is the winner by TKO! Slamen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Troy Slamen!
An out of breath Troy Slamen thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
