Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irvin Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adofo Anzety!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Morgan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anzety - the referee stops the clock and Morgan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anzety. Morgan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Anzety lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Morgan takes one on the button.
Morgan shoots for a double leg takedown but Anzety sprawls well. He's pushed Morgan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Good leg kick by Anzety there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Anzety throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.
Anzety connects with a single shot there.
Anzety cracks Morgan with a good jab.
Morgan is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anzety ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Morgan's jaw. Morgan's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Anzety does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adofo Anzety!
