PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kofi Manstop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lil Wayne told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manstop tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wayne swivels and escapes.
Manstop shoots in looking for a takedown. Wayne tries to sprawl out of it but Manstop keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wayne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lil Wayne wasn't active enough on the ground.

Wayne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Manstop has time to react.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Manstop lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wayne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wayne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Horrible takedown by Manstop or perhaps it was just good defense by Wayne which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kofi Manstop will probably get the nod.

Wayne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Manstop walks away with a smile on his face. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Manstop dives in for a single leg takedown but Wayne sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Lil Wayne.
