PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aikido JuJoKata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby McGrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aikido JuJoKata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby McGrath!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JuJoKata tries to clinch up.
JuJoKata tries to clinch up but McGrath circles away and keeps his distance.
McGrath changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. JuJoKata tries to avoid it but McGrath manages to keep hold of a leg and drag JuJoKata to the ground. JuJoKata escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

JuJoKata bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McGrath misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McGrath can't do much from the bottom here.
McGrath is working to avoid the ground and pound but JuJoKata connects with a decent elbow.

JuJoKata decides to stand back up. JuJoKata steps back and let's McGrath get back to his feet.
JuJoKata throws a body kick that misses.
JuJoKata fails in his attempt to clinch.
JuJoKata tries to clinch up.
McGrath has a takedown stuffed.
JuJoKata tries to close the distance and clinch but McGrath swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

JuJoKata unloads a knee to the mid-section. McGrath lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
JuJoKata lands an elbow inside that McGrath shrugs off.
McGrath takes a knee right on the jaw!

JuJoKata creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through McGrath's defenses.

McGrath gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
JuJoKata keeping moving, preventing McGrath from controlling successfully.
JuJoKata is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McGrath is controlling him.
McGrath slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McGrath looking to punish the body of his opponent here but JuJoKata is avoiding damage well.

McGrath has hold of JuJoKata's arm. He's looking for a kimura. JuJoKata seems comfortable defending it but McGrath has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! JuJoKata is real pain and he's forced to tap out! JuJoKata is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but McGrath couldn't care less - he's delighted!
