Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Orlin Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marino Stablum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stablum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stablum loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Fernandez wants to get back to his feet but Stablum is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Fernandez wants to hit a switch here but Stablum passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fernandez there!

Fernandez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Stablum feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fernandez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fernandez misses with a takedown

so Stablum counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Stablum is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernandez pulls Stablum in close to his closed guard and prevents Stablum from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stablum gets to his feet. Fernandez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
