Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Nestor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nestor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ain't no grave. Robin Convents is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dustin Nestor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robin Convents!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nestor has closed the distance and engaged Convents in a clinch.
Nestor drags the fight down to the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nestor is on top in guard.
Nestor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Convents is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nestor throws a big right hand that misses.
Convents working a defensive guard here.
Convents is working an open guard so Nestor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nestor takes the fight into the clinch.
Nestor manages to break the clinch.
Convents shoots for a double leg takedown but Nestor sprawls well. He's pushed Convents's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nestor closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nestor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Convents, pushing him back against the cage.
Nestor is trying to trip Convents. He has hold of a leg but Convents is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Nestor persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Convents trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Nestor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Nestor wanted to stand there but Convents had control of the position.
Nestor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Convents has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nestor has managed to get both his arms back between Convents's legs - danger averted.
Convents looking for a guillotine here but Nestor defends easily.
Nestor pushing down on Convents's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Nestor stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Nestor instigates a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nestor jumps guard and drags Convents to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Convents with a nice head shot there.
Convents has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nestor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Convents's guard.
Nestor stands and steps away. Convents gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Convents gets tackled into the cage by Nestor. Nestor maintains the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Convents's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Convents taking a breather.
Nestor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Convents tries to move into range but Nestor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nestor, right into the meat.
Nestor fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut there from Nestor.

Decent striking displayed by Nestor there.
Convents on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nestor sizes up Convents with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nestor gets a clinch.
Convents is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Convents is trying to break the clinch but Nestor is controlling him.
Nestor breaks from the clinch.
Nestor throws a right hand that Convents ducks under and follows up with a left that Convents also avoids with ease.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Convents throws a head kick that misses.
Convents wants to clinch but Nestor slips to the side
and Nestor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nestor throws a good cross that connects.
Nestor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Convents doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Convents looks winded!
Nestor ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Convents drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nestor cracks Convents with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nestor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Convents to stand back up!
Convents is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nestor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Convents is still on wobbly legs! Can Nestor finish him?
Convents tries to keep at a distance but Nestor has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nestor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Convents seems to have recovered his senses.
Nestor walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Convents drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Nestor swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Convents's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dustin Nestor!
