Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Hardacre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amelie Poulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amelie Poulain!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardacre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Poulain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardacre swivels and escapes.
Poulain checks a low kick from Hardacre.
We've been told by Hardacre's head coaches at ELITE GYM 40CAP that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nice sprawl there from Hardacre as Poulain shoots in.
Hardacre loads up on a big right hand but Poulain slips the punch.
Poulain misses with a low kick.
Poulain checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Poulain crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hardacre - the referee stops the clock and Poulain gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hardacre. Poulain manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Poulain throws a low kick but Hardacre avoids it.
Hardacre moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Hardacre lands a big head kick that sends Poulain tumbling to the mat! Hardacre takes a step backwards and waves Poulain back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Amelie Poulain has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Poulain shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardacre defends it nicely.

Hardacre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poulain swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hardacre moves forwards but Poulain connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That's time! Hardacre's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Poulain throws a hook but Hardacre avoids it easily.
Poulain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardacre sprawls well. Hardacre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Poulain gets slowly back to his feet.

Poulain jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Hardacre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Poulain is breathing heavily.
Crunch! Hardacre slams his shin into Poulain's torso.
Hardacre fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Poulain.
Poulain shoots in looking for a takedown but Hardacre manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Poulain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Poulain doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Hardacre attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hardacre lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hardacre is looking to slow Poulain down with leg kicks.
Hardacre connects with a leg kick. Poulain looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Hardacre rushes Poulain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Poulain's coach down at Hilo Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Poulain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Hardacre lands a leg kick that knocks Poulain off balance momentarily.

Hardacre rushes Poulain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hardacre stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Hardacre cracks Poulain with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Poulain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hardacre can pounce on him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Poulain takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Hardacre drops Poulain with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Poulain looks back up at him and smiles so Hardacre waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

BAM! Hardacre delivers a spinning backfist that drops Poulain like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
