Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricky Butler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sinan Yak!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler tests Yak's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ricky Butler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yak walks into a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Butler misses with a hook. Yak ducked under it nicely.
No joy there for Butler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yak avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Yak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Butler's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Butler looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Yak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Yak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Yak trying to control the position from guard on top but Butler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sinan Yak.
Butler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Butler seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Butler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Butler. Yak does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yak walks into a jab.
Butler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yak.
Butler pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Butler misses with a straight left.
Butler shoots for a takedown but Yak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yak misses with a few strikes there.
Butler throws a hook to the side of Yak's head but Yak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yak missing with a left hand there. Butler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Butler misses with a wild combination.
Butler misses the shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Butler! Yak is backing up but he can't get away as Butler lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Yak and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ricky Butler!
