Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richie Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro de le Fe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de le Fe has chosen Smack my bitch up as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alejandro de le Fe!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de le Fe tests Yang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yang shoots for a double leg takedown but de le Fe sprawls well. He's pushed Yang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
de le Fe throws a hook but Yang avoids it easily.

Yang dives in and scores a takedown into de le Fe's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
de le Fe wants to stand and escape but Yang is having none of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Yang's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
