Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paskal Aubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caa Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Paskal Aubin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aubin stalks Chulainn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chulainn's face. Chulainn staggers backwards, shaken.
Aubin misses with a two punch combination.
Chulainn shoots in but no luck this time.
Chulainn moves out of range as Aubin throws a body kick.
Chulainn shoots in and drives through. Aubin sprawls well.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Aubin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Aubin is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chulainn presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Paskal Aubin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caa Chulainn.
Aubin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Aubin throws a punch but it's blocked by Chulainn.

Chulainn has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Aubin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Chulainn is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Chulainn gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Chulainn gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Chulainn apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Aubin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Aubin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Chulainn is controlling him well.

Caa Chulainn dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chulainn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Aubin seems to have got his legs back now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chulainn looks up at the clock and then as Aubin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chulainn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Chulainn lands a strong strike to the head of Aubin. That's dazed him! Chulainn looking to finish here. Aubin is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Chulainn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
