Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ian McSpeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ian McSpeed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler lands a nice shot to the body.
Chandler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McSpeed moves away.
McSpeed tries to work over Chandler's front leg with a kick but Chandler checks it.

Chandler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McSpeed pulls Chandler in close to prevent any damage.
Chandler cracks McSpeed with a solid left hand.
Chandler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Chandler distracts McSpeed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
McSpeed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chandler postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chandler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McSpeed has Chandler pulled in close to control his posture.

Chandler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McSpeed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chandler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McSpeed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McSpeed pulls Chandler in to control the position.
McSpeed manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chandler manages to get himself to full guard.

Chandler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McSpeed postures up and lands a big shot to Chandler's brow.

Chandler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McSpeed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chandler wants to stand and escape but McSpeed is having none of it.

McSpeed is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chandler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Chandler is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Chandler takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Chandler tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Chandler manages to work his way to half guard, despite McSpeed's best efforts.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McSpeed is nestled in close to Chandler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chandler is still in real trouble! Can McSpeed finish him?

We've been hearing that McSpeed has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McSpeed connects with a nice short shot to Chandler's temple.
McSpeed moves into full mount! Chandler won't be happy about that!

McSpeed is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chandler has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ian McSpeed dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


McSpeed takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chandler scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McSpeed doesn't seem bothered though.
Chandler seems to have recovered his senses.

McSpeed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chandler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McSpeed has managed to get both his arms back between Chandler's legs - danger averted.
McSpeed connects with a couple of short punches.
McSpeed postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

McSpeed thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McSpeed loads up on a big left hand. Chandler felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McSpeed looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Chandler can't hide his disappointment, as McSpeed celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian McSpeed!
