Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kurt McConor!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McConor shoots in and bounces Palister off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

McConor gets to his feet - Palister follows without any prompting.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McConor manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
McConor is trying to drag Palister to the mat but Palister just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

McConor tries to score a body lock takedown but Palister shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Palister drops down looking for an ankle pick but McConor pulls his leg out and moves away.

McConor shoots in and gets a takedown into Palister's guard.
We've been informed that McConor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
McConor tries to stand but Palister is controlling from the bottom.

McConor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

McConor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Palister looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McConor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palister's waist but Palister gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McConor off to one side.

Kurt McConor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McConor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
