Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alton Pueblo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alton Pueblo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Todd Lane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pueblo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lane.
Horrible takedown by Lane or perhaps it was just good defense by Pueblo which made him look bad.

Pueblo moves into the clinch.
Lane is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pueblo is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Lane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lane gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Lane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pueblo walks away with a smile on his face. Lane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pueblo moves into the clinch.
Lane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lane tries to score a body lock takedown but Pueblo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nice body punch from Pueblo - that landed with a thud.

Lane jumps guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pueblo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pueblo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pueblo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Pueblo escapes and gets back to his feet.

Pueblo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lane, pushing him back against the cage.
Pueblo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Lane drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pueblo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pueblo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lane defends well and Pueblo ends up having to push Lane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A right handed body shot lands from Pueblo.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Lane is breathing heavily.
Pueblo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pueblo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lane or not.
Pueblo jerks Lane's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Lane drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Pueblo goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Pueblo because Lane was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

After winning the bout, Alton Pueblo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
