The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Meadows does no damage.
Hideyoshi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Hideyoshi drives through and clinches with Meadows against the cage.
Meadows wants to break free but Hideyoshi has control.
Hideyoshi scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A knee to the head by Hideyoshi.
Meadows's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hideyoshi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Meadows.
Hideyoshi lands a nice uppercut.

Meadows is rocked!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hideyoshi.
Meadows is still on wobbly legs! Can Hideyoshi finish him?
Hideyoshi has Meadows pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Meadows is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hideyoshi - that's hurt Meadows badly! Oh, another knee lands and Meadows is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Meadows doesn't seem to be complaining.
