The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Kim 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A head kick misses from Kim.
Kim throws a low kick but Thomas Jr avoids it.
Thomas Jr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kim throws out a leg kick but Thomas Jr moves out of range and Kim only half commits.
Kim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

We've been informed that Kim has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Thomas Jr lands a big head kick that sends Kim tumbling to the mat! Thomas Jr takes a step backwards and waves Kim back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jin Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kim swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas Jr fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kim on the side of the head.
Kim is still on wobbly legs! Can Thomas Jr finish him?

Kim throws a looping overhand right but Thomas Jr ducks down to avoid it.

Kim's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Thomas Jr throws a leg kick which misses Kim's front leg but catches the back leg as Kim tries to avoid it.

Kim stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thomas Jr.

Thomas Jr moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Thomas Jr cracks Kim with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Thomas Jr has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kim to stand back up!

That has opened up Jin Kim's cut even more.
Thomas Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kim's sensitive parts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thomas Jr feints a jab and as Kim dips his head, Thomas Jr unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kim right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kim falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Thomas Jr smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

After the fight, Ash Thomas Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
