The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez fails with the takedown
and Saffedine holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Saffedine has Lopez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Saffedine pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lopez tumbling to the mat - Saffedine dives into Lopez's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Lopez will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Saffedine counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lopez won't be happy with that.

Saffedine is not going to allow Lopez to sit and survive in this position.
Lopez is trying to get back to his feet but Saffedine has full control of the position and if anything, Lopez has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Saffedine is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lopez has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Saffedine has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lopez taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Saffedine doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Armos Saffedine!
