Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enrico Matta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Jet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matta kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Velociraptor by SUBSONICA. The key to victory for Enrico Matta has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matta misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Matta.
Nice body punch from Matta.
Jet tries for a takedown but Matta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Matta keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Matta connects with a crisp jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jet has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Matta stuffs the takedown attempt from Jet. Jet gets slowly back to his feet.
Matta throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jet moves away from the strike by Matta.
Jet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Matta swivels and escapes.
Enrico Matta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Jet.
Jet takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Matta lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jet's sensitive parts.
Matta lands a body shot.
Matta is looking to wear down Jet with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jet takes one to the chin there.
Matta throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jet on the side of the head.

Matta cracks Jet with a left hook right on the temple and Jet goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Matta lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Jet is OK!
