The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed takes the fight into the clinch.
Issa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Reed backwards.
Issa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Reed has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Issa blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Issa misses with a punch on the inside.
Reed tries for a takedown. No joy.
Issa misses with a body punch.
Reed managing to block the knees to the body from Issa.
Issa misses with a short punch on the inside.
Issa throws a head punch that misses.
A nice right hand lands inside from Issa.
Issa doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Issa scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Reed lands a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Issa looking for a sweep. Not yet Issa, not yet.
Reed works over Issa with some ground and pound from guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Reed drops back looking for a leg! Issa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Issa manages to kick Reed off! Reed jumps back into Issa's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Issa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Reed sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Issa defending well though.

Reed is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Issa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
