Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rekis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Cochrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rekis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - Thunderstruck. John Rekis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Guy Cochrane!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Cochrane.

Rekis tries to close the distance and clinch but Cochrane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cochrane is looking to break free of the clinch but Rekis has double underhooks.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rekis is trying to drag Cochrane to the mat but Cochrane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rekis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cochrane avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
