Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Durden definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Power misses with a shot to the body
and Power takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like Jake Power has been cut.
Durden misses with a lunging right hand

and Power counters with a shoot takedown. Durden fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Durden wants to stand and escape but Power is having none of it.
Power sitting in guard here, content to control.

Jake Power has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A slow jab from Durden misses its intended target.

Power takes the fight into the clinch.

Power ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Power no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Durden postures up in Power's guard and throws a big left but Power blocks it.
Power is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Power can do anything to dispel that myth.

Power is adopting a defensive guard.
Power is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Durden looks like he's trying to stand up.
Power is trying to control. Durden wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Power is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Durden is looking to escape.
Durden is breathing heavily.

Power is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Power lands strikes from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power is controlling the pace.
Power is nestled in close to Durden, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Power working over Durden with some ground and pound. Durden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Oh Durden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Power is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Durden is hurt! He's hurt bad - Power fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Durden from any more punishment! Congratulations to Power! Great finish!
