Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahti Ahven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt comes into the arena with cult of personality blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ahti Ahven enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahven steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schmidt.
Schmidt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Schmidt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ahven.
Ahven cracks Schmidt with an open hand slap.
Schmidt punishes Ahven's body with a nice straight punch.
Schmidt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ahven cracks the inside of Schmidt's front leg.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ahven, right into the meat.
Ahven thows a left - swing and a miss!
Schmidt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahven keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schmidt.
Ahven throws a lazy right hand but Schmidt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Schmidt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ahven.
Ahven missing with a left hand there. Schmidt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Schmidt steps in with a hook that catches Ahven right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Schmidt follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ahven looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Schmidt!
During a confident post fight interview, Don Schmidt thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Ahti Ahven stepped up to the mic, saying 'Lucky'.
