The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Capone forces Madden back against the cage and clinches.

Madden breaks from the clinch.
Madden tries to clinch up.
Capone misses with a series of wild punches.

Madden looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Madden throwing strikes but missing.
Capone keeping moving, preventing Madden from controlling successfully.

Capone is looking for a triangle but Madden pushes his legs off easily.
Madden slips nicely into half guard.
Capone wants to improve his position but Madden is controlling well.

Capone is defending against the submission attempts here by Madden.
Madden thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Capone wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Madden fails with the takedown.
Madden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Capone paws at him with a jab and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Capone works over Madden's head and body with a nice combination.
Capone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Madden clinches but Capone breaks the clinch
and Capone counters with a nice leg kick.
Madden wants to clinch
and Capone counters with a nice uppercut.
Capone throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Darren Madden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madden tries for a takedown but Capone circles away easily
and Capone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Madden moves out of range of the leg kick from Capone.
Capone misses with a double jab.
Capone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Madden looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Madden looks gassed!

Capone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Capone manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Capone for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Capone prevents Madden from breaking the clinch.
Madden tries to pull guard but Capone holds him up against the cage and eventually Madden drops back down to his feet.
Demitrius Capone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Madden.

Madden manages to break the clinch.
Madden takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Madden is rocked!
Madden circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Capone. Madden falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Capone!
