The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkanen shoots in and gets a takedown into Watson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watson pushes Pekkanen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Watson wants to get up but he can't break Pekkanen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Watson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pekkanen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watson manages to get himself to full guard.
Pekkanen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Watson is pulling down on Pekkanen's head. It's preventing any offense from Pekkanen, at least for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pekkanen throws an overhand right that lands on Watson's shoulder, as Watson tries to avoid the shot.

Watson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pekkanen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pekkanen has picked Watson up - he's going for a ride! Pekkanen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Watson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pekkanen is trying to control. Watson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jantte Pekkanen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jantte Pekkanen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pekkanen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
