Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ludvik Rooijakker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egidiusz Nowakowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rooijakker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nowakowski is trying to defend but Rooijakker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rooijakker wants to get back to his feet.
Nowakowski makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nowakowski.
Rooijakker being controlled here momentarily.

Nowakowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rooijakker manages to get himself to full guard.

Nowakowski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rooijakker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nowakowski is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nowakowski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rooijakker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nowakowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rooijakker is trying to keep Nowakowski in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nowakowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rooijakker as he avoids it easily.
Rooijakker tries to clinch up but Nowakowski circles away and keeps his distance.

and Nowakowski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rooijakker's guard.
Rooijakker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nowakowski on the ground.
