The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Side tries a head kick but it misses.
Side lands a head kick!
Side wants to clinch.
Side punishes Lannister's body with a nice straight punch.
Side listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Side pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Side is looking to land body kicks.
Side throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Side misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lannister uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Side.
Lannister has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Side.
Lannister has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Side.

Side has closed the distance and engaged Lannister in a clinch.
Side tries to throw a body punch but Lannister avoids it by throwing Side back against the cage.

A nice left hand lands by Side.
Side throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Side throws a punch but it's blocked by Lannister.
Side swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Side turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Side manages to end up in side control.
Side is looking to take a break and control but Lannister is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lannister tries to improve position but can't.
Lannister is working hard here to advance position.
Lannister manages to work his way to half guard, despite Side's best efforts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lannister is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Side's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Side's back!
