Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Pirozhkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustaf Lindback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Pirozhkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Gustaf Lindback!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lindback closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pirozhkov to the mat! Pirozhkov manages to get full guard.
Lindback trying to control the position from guard on top but Pirozhkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pirozhkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lindback defends it easily.
Pirozhkov keeping moving, preventing Lindback from controlling successfully.
Lindback trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lindback trying to control the position from guard on top but Pirozhkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindback seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Gustaf Lindback has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lindback is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pirozhkov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lindback wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pirozhkov, who protects the arm well.

Pirozhkov tries to buck Lindback off but Lindback is having none of it.

Lindback looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pirozhkov regains half guard.
Pirozhkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lindback is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pirozhkov tries to roll over but Lindback keeps him under control.

Lindback is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pirozhkov wants to control but Lindback is keeping busy.
Lindback trying to mount his opponent but Pirozhkov defends it.
Lindback is trying to control the action in half guard but Pirozhkov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lindback wants to control but Pirozhkov is keeping him busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pirozhkov gets caught flat footed, as Lindback shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pirozhkov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lindback stacks Pirozhkov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lindback!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lindback working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lindback goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pirozhkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lindback but great work by Pirozhkov.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lindback tries to bench press Pirozhkov off him but Pirozhkov keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Lindback bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
