The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Scott Campos has been cut.
Parr rushes Campos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Campos tries a body shot but Parr blocks it.
Campos is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parr to keep the fight standing.
Campos jumps guard and drags Parr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Parr wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Campos's closed guard. He's half up but Campos has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Campos pivots and extends the arm, Parr falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Campos! Well done that man!
