PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Eggemeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture comes into the arena with The Chicken Dance blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Eggemeyer connects with a nice short shot to Couture's temple.

Couture has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Eggemeyer is proving hard to escape from.

Eggemeyer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Couture's guard.
Couture wants to stand and escape but Eggemeyer is having none of it.

Couture turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Eggemeyer off and cradles Couture's limp body as Eggemeyer celebrates with his corner.
