Zangief comes into the arena with We Own It blaring out of the sound system. Azevedo has chosen Puddle Of Mudd - Psycho as his entrance music. Travis Zangief has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo throws a head kick that misses
and Zangief counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zangief.
Zangief misses with a hook from the clinch.
Zangief makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Zangief lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Azevedo backwards.
We've been informed that Azevedo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Azevedo counters with a big head kick out of nowhere, perfectly timed, sending Zangief crashing to the mat! Zangief is trying to stumble back to his feet... will he beat the count? We're at 5,6,7,8,9,10! He's out! Azevedo takes this one thanks to a picture pefect counter strike.
