The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossovich gets caught flat footed, as Njewel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Njewel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Njewel wants to control from the top but Rossovich keeps moving.
Njewel is really struggling to control Rossovich but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Njewel won't allow Rossovich to sweep him here.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rossovich working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Njewel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rossovich is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Martin Philippe Njewel really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
