Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Thunder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adrian Morrison!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Thunder tries to sprawl out of it but Morrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thunder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morrison feints and as Thunder raises his hands in defense, Morrison changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Thunder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Morrison stands and steps away. Thunder gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Thunder tries to pull guard but Morrison won't allow it.

It looks like Jacob Thunder has been cut.

Morrison gets control of Thunder's arms and successfully pulls guard. Morrison will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thunder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thunder won't allow Morrison to sweep him here.

Morrison tries to work over Thunder's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Morrison makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Thunder is trying to break the clinch but Morrison has him pressed against the cage.

Morrison has had enough of the clinch but Thunder keeps him there for the moment.

Morrison tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thunder just stands there and leans against the cage.

and Thunder connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Adrian Morrison has been cut.
Thunder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morrison tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Morrison keeps control of Thunder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Thunder blocks an elbow strike.
Thunder fails to pull guard.

Thunder drops down looking for an ankle pick but Morrison pulls his leg out and moves away.

Morrison is bucking up trying to escape but Thunder cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Morrison is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Morrison tries to control the position but Thunder now has his back.
Thunder lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Morrison is in bad spot here.

Thunder is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Morrison has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Thunder lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Morrison.

Thunder looking to break Morrison's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Morrison remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Thunder will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacob Thunder.
I think Morrison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
